In today's crypto market, there are far too many currencies in existence for a stable market to subsist. In what is coined the new "crypto winter" in Q2 2022, much of the sell off is due to the lack of certainty in many cryptocurrencies including the algorithmic stablecoins. However, it should not be assumed that cryptocurrencies will completely die out like the demand of tulip bulbs. It is very much possible that a diverse coin market can and will exist in the future, just the sheer quantity of cryptocurrencies today does not seem to viable in the long term. It will be interesting to see the crypto market after this "crypto winter," which will test the strength and resilience of the market.
